which AG doll was your first? and who got it for you?

GT17G was my daughters first,then bitty baby,Haily hop scotch hill and this Christmas Santa was really good to her she got both Nellie and Samantha.Now she is telling me the next ones she wants to get are Addy and Kit.I don't thing she will be getting two at a time again unless there is a best friends special. My first AG was AGT#16, my fiance bought her for me Christmas 2002. The doll had that gray-green looking skin though and didn't look like they do in the catalog so he called and exchanged it for a Samantha instead, so I guess technically Samantha was my first AG. My fiance tried to choose a doll that looked like me hence the AGT#16, even though I am asian the asian one looks nothing like me. But I have since been able to get a pre-Mattel AGT#16 and she is absolutely beautiful, she is now our favorite doll.

My Our New Baby doll, which is now Bitty, is technically my first in 1992, when I was 3. My first AG was Molly in 1996. My mom bought both of them, and all of my dolls. My father buying Charlie, my Gotz Precious Day from Sakurako, was a first for him!

My mom got me Kit for my 30th birthday last March. Now we are 5 AGs strong (Kit, Ruthie, Molly, Lindsey & Marisol)... and my mom has 3 (Kaya, Josefina & Addy).
